Enghouse CDRator delivers a unique billing and customer care software platform to service providers within the global Telco industry. Since our establishment in 2002 we have experienced great success with our market-leading solution. Today we are 90 employees with 30 different nationalities servicing customers around the world.

We are now strengthening our Back-End team with 2 driven and motivated Java Developers for our small team working from Ballerup, Denmark.

The Role

As a Back-End Developer you will have great possibilities to add value to our solutions. During our development process, our Back-End Developer has a broad responsibility both from a technical perspective as well as process perspective (decision-making). It is important that you enjoy this kind of approach since you are expected to take a proactive stance in not only delivering on back-end development but also help us make the right technology decisions regarding the future of our software solutions.

Our BackEnd Team is responsible for the design, implementation, test and documentation of the core elements of our software platform, including online-charging. These elements include persistence layer, domain model and frameworks for implementing business solutions. We work with tasks of all sizes: from small additions completed within a day to developing completely new frameworks that take several weeks. We collaborate very closely with our FrontEnd Team.


  • Strong SQL database query skills
  • Experience with object oriented software development using Java SE, including multi-threading.
  • Experience with unit testing (jUnit).
  • Experience developing high-performance SQL, preferably on Oracle database platform.
  • Higher educational background in computer science, engineering or IT.
  • English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Experience with system development, ideally from the telco or financial industry.
  • Knowledge of Subversion and Maven.
